The Future of Among Us
Hey everyone, PuffballsUnited here! It’s been a very exciting time for us the past few months! We’ve absolutely loved seeing everyone enjoying Among Us! Forte has been working hard to get the servers adjusted to deal with the huge influx of players. Thank you so much for bearing with us through these growing pains. Hopefully we can get started on new content soon! Speaking of new content…
Us devs have had several long discussions about what we want to do with the game. When do we stop working on Among Us 1? What content goes into Among Us 2? The main reason we are shooting for a sequel is because the codebase of Among Us 1 is so outdated and not built to support adding so much new content. However, seeing how many people are enjoying Among Us 1 really makes us want to be able to support the game and take it to the next level. We have decided to cancel Among Us 2 and instead put all our focus into improving Among Us 1. All of the content we had planned for Among Us 2 will instead go into Among Us 1. This is probably the more difficult choice because it means going deep into the core code of the game and reworking several parts of it. We have lots of things planned and we’re excited to bring new content to everyone as you continue to enjoy playing!
Here’s some things that are coming on the horizon:
* Servers. Forte is still working very hard to figure out our server issues. We don’t have an ETA but things should hopefully be getting better and better. This is taking up all development time on his end.
* Colorblind support. It’s something we’ve put off for way too long… We plan on adding other identifiers for players as well as certain color focused tasks (Like wires). This should also open the potential for more colors. In the past we couldn’t add more colors because it became too difficult to tell players apart.
* Friends/Account System. This is something we’ve wanted to do for a long time but just haven’t been able to tackle. For the health of the game going forward we’re going to sink our teeth in and figure it out! This one will definitely take some time.
* A new stage! It is still very early and we have only just begun designing the layout. The theme has been settled on though! The next stage in Among Us is going to be a Henry Stickmin themed location!
We have LOTS of other things planned too, we just need to prioritize and organize all our plans. Stay tuned!

Esta bueno que se pueda iniciar sesión con facebook y que agreguen micrófono para hablar y no estar escribiendo, tambien que los jugadores no se puedan salir del juego ya que algunos jugadores cuando no son impostores se sale de la partida, y que después de ganar una partida , que nos den una medalla y que cuando tengamos 100 medallas la podamos intercambiar en la tienda

most among us plays that have a consul would like to see the game appear on the Xbox/PlayStation, even Nintendo switch. Not everyone has a pc and it would gain so much use and popularity being added to consul if coded right. Finally, from experience of playing, a lot of players use discord to create a game to talk to each other. It would be so cool to see a voice chat option in the game, where everyone gets auto muted while playing unless a meeting or murder. Otherwise I’m really happy to hear what is being added and it will definitely better the game.
litterly theres three people on innersloth thats to much coding and i agree to the console and nintendo switch among us
You could add different gamemodes, because then you can have a mode that has a sheriff or something without ruining the actual game, or you could have a hide and seek mode or something, I don't really know.

Me gustaría que entre nosotros, en el mapa que cada uno tenga su don osea, si quieres ser el electricista tienes que elegirtelo y así y también me gustaría un modo primera persona para ambos tanto para el tripulante como para el impostor así los jugadores puedan jugar como más les guste y cómodo sea para cada uno yo diría que es una gran idea para mejorar el juego saludos desde Argentina 🇦🇷

is there a way to get beta download on mobile (ios) because it says my game is not updated but isn’t allowing me to update.
Same problem with many others
If you are on PC, you are able to access the beta version of among us. Mobile devices however do not have this function. So no. You need the Windows version($5 waste).
Many disconnections, everytime im imposter it crashes :'(

Impostors should be able to undo certain tasks, so that they can get a little bit longer of an opportunity to win
i have an idea for something that won't change gameplay. when match starts as impostor, instead of the crewmate shushing you, have a killer alien type thing kill a crewmate and consume its body (just as a little cutscene that doesnt go longer than shhh crewmate) and have the option to have that on or off

I really like this game, but lately I’ve been running into a problem. Sometimes when I join a server everything will go black and a red character named Eric Loris. He’ll say something about subscribing to him and supporting Trump. It’s been happening less now but I just wanted to report it.
That's a hacker and many people have been seeing it. The devs are rolling out anti hacks on the server end.
