Small Patch and Small Roadmap
Hello! It’s been pretty crazy for us here at Innersloth. Lots of things happening behind the scenes. We’ve got a small update here for you all.
Firstly, we want to be sure to talk about the cheating and hacking going on. It was pretty bad there for a bit, so Forte pushed out server changes really fast. They seemed to help a lot, but some cheats still work and now there are bugs too. There will be more server updates to fix all of this, but rushing anti-hacks is what caused the bugs, so cleaning things up is a slower process. Also rest assured that any threats made in the game are false and your devices and data are safe. If you see a hacker, ban them or find a different room.
Here's what this update contains:
- Added Anonymous Voting option
All votes appear as grey
- Added Task Bar Modes
Always mode works like normal
Meeting mode only updates the bar during meetings
Invisible mode removes the task bar entirely
- MIRA: Comms sabotage clears the security logs
-Added symbols to fix wires task
-Added cosmetics to meeting screen
-Various bug fixes
We have lots of things planned, but no real official roadmap. We play things pretty loose so we can tackle what we think the game needs most. We also don’t want to promise anything and then not provide it so it’s a scary thing to share. Here are some of the big things we are planning:
-Accounts. We’re hoping to get accounts into the game by December. This will allow players to report accounts that are toxic and/or hacking. They may be a bit barebones at first but things like friendslists will also come at a later date after launch.
-New Map. We’re hard at work on a new map (It’s Henry Stickmin themed!). This map is currently looking bigger than Polus! The map will contain plenty of new tasks and will be available for free to all players!
-Translations/Localization. The game is currently only translated into a few languages (and some of those translations are a bit rough). We’re planning on getting professional translations into multiple languages (More than we currently have, not ready to share quite which languages yet). To all the people offering to translate, thanks for reaching out, but we’ve got it under control!
-Colorblind support. This patch contains a first pass on colorblind support. We’ll continue monitoring it to see how it performs.
Mind you this isn’t the full extent of our plans. We’ve got lots of things we’re planning that we’re not quite ready to share yet! Thanks for sticking with us and enjoying the game! We’re going through some growing pains right now, but I am very excited for the future of Among Us!

Hey Innersloth! I have a suggestion:)
If your creating accounts, can we buy pets and clothes with in game currency. Sort of like if you do missions, you earn in game currency which you can use to buy pets and clothing items. This way people will not let the other crewmates down by not doing their tasks, as you benefit in more ways than just winning the game.

Hello. A lot of people leave when the game starts. Can you guys make it so they get some kind of punishment or something else oh can you also show if someone disconnects because when you disconnect it shows that the player left the game
There is a punnishment, if you do that 5 times you can't play for 5 to 8 minutes.
But i think that with 3 times it's enought, 'cause everybody exit if there are no imposters.
I'll sugges something more cruel, like if you exit 3 match that you were crewmate and you keep playing, the first time you get impostor, kicked you ''due and error'' with a message in the screen that says ''If you only like to play as an impostor, stop playing and don't screw up the matches of the others exiting instantly :)'' (yes, with the cringey smile to make them feel worse) but i understand that is unfair that you are impostor and your killmate is kicked by the face.
I know that but people can always do something else and I agree with the punishment you said
Please can we had IA in freeplay for when you play free play as a crewmate the impostor can still kill and the dummies move it could be more fun and good when you play without connection
Please...PLEASE!Add a hugging tutorial warning the kids under 10 years old that THEY NEED TO OPEN CHAT, DON'T BLAME PEOPLE BY THE FACE AND UNDERSTAND THAT IF SOMEBADY FOLLOW YOU AND SOMEONE DIED, THEY CAN'T SAY ''it's purple, he/she was following you'' BECAUSE IF HE/SHE WAS FOLLOWING YOU, THEN HE/SHE COULDN'T KILL THE PERSON WHO DIED.
Really, frick off, the people in among us is so dumb, even more in spanish servers (i'm from spain but i mostly play in english servers 'cause there the only bad thing is the tipical noob who says ''x color sus''), there continually keep spamming names like ''el pepe'', ''ete sech'' or ''busconovi@'' (''busconovio/busconovia means ''i'm searching boyfriend/girlfriend'' in spanish, usually kids of 13 yo use it to troll other people and easily got banned).
I think Among Us need a thing like if you don't say nothing in the first 20 seconds of a discussion, you are kicked from the room with a message that says ''You were kicked from the server due not chating in a discussion. If you don't know how to open the chat, check the tutorial in the principal screen''.
I know is hard to implementate, but at least do it for the people who pay for it in steam, we didn't pay for a game were thanks to a kid you get ejected because ''He sus'', and even if you are impostor they celebrate, ''HURRAY!WE ARE DUMBER THAN A ROCK AND WE BELIVE EVERYTHING, BUT WE WON!'', please...solve that...

Okay. I don't chatting thing. But I absolutely HATE when I tell them that I SAW this color murder this color in whatever place, and I saw them vent. But all they have to do is simply say my color, and suddenly everyone is all like, yea, the person who just got tons of evidence dropped onto them is obviously right. Its clearly the person that has done nothing wrong. I mean, there's no proof that it was me and there's tons of proof that it was them and yet you still vote me. You idiots. This is why I've created a rule in my rooms. If you don't have proof on someone, we skip. And if you keep doing that. I. Will. FRICKING KICK YOU.

o jogo esta travando muito! As vezes no meio da partida sai e aparece uma mensagem de erro. As vezes quando quero entrar nas salas da erro e não entra, mesmo que a sala esteja 3/10 pessoas. Tenho que ficar tentando várias vezes.

me gustaria que añadariais un boton que ponga foto en las partidas, asi podriamos fotografiar lo que sale en pantalla (no la galeria solo fotos de la partida) para usarlas de pruebas para que te crean, como fotografiar al impostor metiendose en la alcantarilla, eso si, que no se pueda tomar foto al chat ni las tareas que haces, y en las fotos no salga la tarea que tienes que hacer en amarillo, y al impostor modificar lo de kill o tareas falsas a cosas de tripulantes, estaria muy bien para mostrar a un tripulante escanearse (que no seas tu o no se podra) espero que leais mi opinion y que podais añadirlo
I'd like to see a penalty added for players who leave under 3 minutes after a game starts. After the server bugs are squashed of course! If someone leaves early after maybe 3 times they get a warning. At 5 times they get banned from matchmaking for 5 minutes then it resets. Sound good?

If someone leaves when they see theyre crewmate or 3 seconds after that then they will not be able to get impostor until they play a whole game.

and why not in pc but sure it could be good to ad an voice chat but when there is kids with you ... its harder
This is game is great!But there is an problem..ever since i updated the game it keeps kicking me out of an server and saying:'This is the newer version!You may need to update the game' Could someone please tell me how to stop this or if happens to you.
Btw when are there gonna be accounts and friends?Because i when i play with someone i don't know,and it disconnecteds me i can't play with them again!:(
Also why can't you say _ - + × ÷ = / € £ ¥ ₩ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) ' " : ; , ? In the server?Could you maybe fix that?That would be nice!

I think it's because the developers are updating and kicking player out of the game because I've notice that whole server just left and I think the developers don't think those symbols are important for the game so they just didn't make a font for it so you can't type it.

It's the buggy anti hacks they pushed onto the server to combat the Eris Lotis hacker that hit a couple weeks ago on NA server. They are aware of it and are working hard to iron out the bugs. The issue is the server, not your game.
im pretty sure the symbloes are blocked to prevent things like messing with the code since the no name glitch is just a line of code and should not work if the naming system was like any other game

It would be great if we had new hats too!
My biggest wishlist item is integrated voice chat that only turns on when meetings are called or when you are dead. The same as it is now with text chat. I’m old and don’t want to learn discord.

The issue is that there's no way to filter voice chat, and there's no way to stop kids playing such an accessible game.
Man this game is amazing however since I updated app I keep getting kicked out of servers encouraging me to update my game. Smh. I've upgraded to newest version. Please help.

You know that thing you mentioned about the account system? You also mentioned a report thing too. I want you to add a feature to that that will track everything they said in the server when you report them so the you guys can verify that it is a problem.

You guys are awesome. Btw, it might be worth adding an option to disable automatic imposter win if crewmembers lose majority power; this would be friendly towards players that come up with alternate ways to play the game.
Keyboard support on ChromeOS would be nice. wasd for motion. space bar for kill. m for map. , for sabotage. etc
I have a tablet with a detachable keyboard so support for that would be nice although it doesn't charge and is about to die
There's actually a keyboard support in among us since it was integrated to pc, you just have to activate ''Mouse+Keyboard'', you'll only can use the mouse for do task, sabotage and etc, for move you use WASD, for kill Q, for enter a task,vent, use the emergency meeting, and open the sabotage menú (if you aren't on a vent) just press E, and for report a dead body use the key R.

This request is for ChromeOS, not Windows and not Mac. On ChromeOS, you can run Android Apps. The developer will need to add keyboard support directly in the .apk distributed on the Android Playstore. Here is the developer documentation that needs to be followed:
