Innersloth updated the way that the Among Us downloads work. They used to have an optional payment, but it was $5 for the PC version. Now, the "demo" is Android, and the paid version is for PC
In short: The Android version of this game is completely free on the Play Store, while you will have to shell out $5 for the PC version, for some reason.
$5 is nothing, but still. I guess its to support development.
I got this for PC but it won't go past the innersloth splash screen before quiiting without an error message. Also, I tried the Android version on my phone, but I keep getting "App not installed". Can I have some help?
There's no GNU/Linux version of Among Us atm. You either need to run the Windows version through WINE (no idea if it works), or run the Android version through an emulator of some kind. I'm about to try Shashlik (which, like WINE, isn't actually an emulator), I'll report back on whether it works.
EDIT: Shashlik doesn't work, apparently Among Us doesn't support x86 ARM or something
I'd just like to reply to say that it does indeed work on GNU/Linux through wine. At the very least, it works through Proton on Steam. I've been playing for quite sometime without any issue
I have a problem because when i want to play with my friends the game shows me that code is wrong and that lobby doesnt exist idk what is wrong. could you please help me cause i cant play with them!!
I can't join private games created by my friends. I'm using steam. It always says could not find the game you're looking for. Anyone also have this error?
Same! I tried everything to solve the problem but it still happens I don't know if it's because of the computer (mine as 8 years and it wasn't made to run games) or if it's something else ://

i tried downloading bluestacks cuz i though thats what i need.
but bluestacks is too heavy on my pc.

yea i also cant join private eu games. even if put location eu it searches for na servers with my code. seems like a bug. i dont use vpn or dns change
