Hey, I keep having the problem that when I join a game I'm getting kicked after about 3 seconds with this error: (the numbers are different sometimes). I tried out everything I found on several websites but nothing fixed it (other server, internet troubleshooter tool). Could you please help me? (PC)
I noticed a few comments complaining that you cant buy DLCs. When you buy the game for US$5 minimum, you get a FREE Steam key that will A) keep your game up-to-date [no need to come back here to download the latest DRM free version and B) you can buy DLCs from Steam. Alas you can't (not that I am aware of) how to get DLC for DRM Free version.
I mean it's causing medical issues, and Valve have known it's doing so since early Novemeber last year (possibly earlier). Migraines and epilepsy are the primary (and most severe) problems it's triggering, but it's also been causing issues for some people with vertigo.

Which is dumb because Steam is a legitimate health hazard for some users so people like me can't get pets because that's locked behind a literal medical barrier to entry.
If you downloaded the correct version (Windows), the game will come in a form of a ZIP folder, which you need to extract using WinRAR or 7-Zip which ever you have installed on your computer.
You CAN, but don't. Steam has been a known health risk for a number of users for almost a year now, and the company has actively blocked users from access to the only safe workaround instead of making anything resembling an effort at fixing the problem.
I am creating a LOCAL game on BlueStacks on my Mac. It's a brand new laptop and just installed everything. I am trying to access the LOCAL game over WiFi from an iPhone 11. I see the game but when I go to connect, the phone errors out with "Reliable packet 1 (size=15) was not acc'd after 7514ms (9 resends). Again, this is a LOCAL game on very reliable WiFi with new equipment and installs and switching to Asia or Europe servers won't fix this problem. Any thoughts or solutions? THANKS!
I think they disabled buying cosmetics on the itch.io version because they couldn't get the purchases to work. So the money sign only appears on the Steam version. Also please DON'T :wink: :wink: google "among us editor koupah" because you could find a tool that lets you select every cosmetic :wink: :wink:
Itch.io doesn't support DLC, so you can't get any pets, you'd need to own the game on steam then buy the pets bundles you want there. You can't by any cosmetics with this version at all. You're gonna need to get steam key and get the game on steam instead and get the cosmetics you want there.
Hey nice game but a have some advise for making the game better! Probably you can add more roles like a commander, arsonist, nurse or somethink. That what make the game more interesting :)
Hey i tried reinstalling the game because i got BSOD on my laptop but when i install all of the pets are gone and all of the skins and stuff are gone. What do I do to get my cosmetics back.

Exact same situation here. Kicker is I only bought it on itch to help them because I know itch gives devs better profit split. Itch should give devs an automated, big, blaring warning including a lots of emails when they run out of steam keys.
So...if you guys are planning on adding a new map from one of the Henry Stickman games then why not add the Complex? I know that it will be very difficult to fix a place for a task but.... can you give it a try?
That's a good idea, but wouldn't be a bit too much of a big map where the Impostor has a lot of advantages? Because the Complex is a big place which could help the Impostor kill someone where nobody would go. But it's a good idea regardless of what pros and cons there are.
For the developers, this game is absolutely amazing! Especially in lock down. Just wanted to leave some player feedback. I think having an account system is very needed! There are people in public lobbies that ruin the fun for everyone else by teaming. Not really an issue playing with friends.
We should be able to add people you play with to a friends list but username or something, that’d be dope. Previously played match log so you can add it again.
Why is there no game mode that has both imposter and security. Only diffrence is Security guy has 1 or 2 kill action but he should be carefull so he didint kill crewmate to help imposters. Also Security have to convince crewmates he is the security etc.It can be fun. Pls make this mode.
I agree that a gamemode with a Detective would be cool, but I don't think it's necessary.
You need a Detective in games like Trouble in Terrorist Town because there aren't any meetings. In Among Us, the meetings make everyone a group of Detectives voting on who they think is the Impostor.
I think that a Detective would probably be part of a "Special Roles" mode that was going to be in Among Us 2, but will now be implemented into Among Us 1.
I think it'd over complicate the game. I like how simple it is where it is. A detective idea sounds nice like in Mafia, but the Imposters are already at a disadvantage (compared to number of crewmates). Adding a detective would just make the odds worse. Maybe in a 3 imposter game-mode, potentially. A detective may have some sort of ability to know who the imposter is (like subtle hints) so they could convince the crewmates to vote off the imposters. I think it'll add an extra layer of sophistication and strategy to the game!

It isn't. The Steam client (which is required to install and run and uninstall and update Steam games) is causing medical issues.

You can see vents move in the Skeld map even if it is completely out of your line of sight.
You can see the vent in med bay or electrical move from security room.
I noticed this the other day too - from admin, you can see the vent in the corridor near nav move.

Some people have waited a few days already. The Devs are very very slow to respond about this issue.

Anyway the game is really good to play with your friend etc.
I found a bug with the admin card mini game if you take the card to the end it automatically completes the task

But, right now, the only way for us to see how it will really turn out is to wait for it to happen. I'm quite excited for it myself.

Adding roles like security or detective would probably make Among Us like 'Murder Mystery'
