I don't know if these were bugs or hacks but in a server at the start of the game the lights were off and if someone turned them back on they would turn off again, and then when it stopped the door to electrical was closed for way longer then they should be. And then the meetings skipped themselves for no reason.
Edit: A few seconds ago I played in a server and someone named "abass" was exploiting, someone caught them and called a meeting but they changed the votes so someone else got voted off, afterwards they killed me, the person that caught them, and that persons friend all at the same time. You should really add a report option so it's easier to report hackers.
I would like to give you an idea, which I believe until you have already thought about it, of a form of game communication that you also have in many other moba style games: it would be much more practical to be able to communicate by audio, typing takes time, sometimes the time is short, 30 seconds, sometimes the keyboard takes a long time to rise, the keyboard disappears on its own, maybe that doesn’t make much difference for those who play on the computer, but with the sudden growth of the game, many people who play are for the mobile version, so I think that would help a lot in the gameplay. a suggestion, a button to chat the moment the discussion started, the player would have the option to just listen and not speak, leave the microphone off, and as soon as the discussion was over, everything would be muted automatically. so, that's it, it would be much easier in such a way, thank u
That's not possible sorry. Only possible if you're using the same platform. I suspect once they implement an account system this should be possible but at the current state nope.
This only works if you're using the same account i.e when you get a new phone simply using the same playstore account as you did in your previous device, if you're on a new computer use the same steam account as your previous computer, on your new iOS use the same app store account as your previous iOS device and you'll always have your purchases with you.
someone went on the purchase website and, putting my email address in the "purchase as gift" option, bought among us as a gift (I'm on Windows) and there aren't any among us files or any emails even mentioning a gift. i didnt have an itch account at the time of the purchase but it says that you don't need one in order to receive the gift.
Consider the possibility that your friend misspelled your email. It’s also possible that they made a mistake and actually didn’t buy the game. They can check with whatever service they used: If their service didn’t bill them for the game that is a strong indicator that something went wrong on your friend’s end… ;)
it's possible that they misspelled my email but i said it multiple times before they made the purchase. also the friend says they were immediately billed after the purchase was made.
Well, than all that’s left is to wait for support to get back to them - and them to get back to you. I wish you and your friend that this resolves soon.
You can check when the game was last updated, so if it was updated recently you'd know that it's on the latest version. I think a good way to check this is compare the last update on mobile (mind you steam and itch.io should update a lot sooner than any other platform, Android being the 2nd fastest to be updated and then iOS dead last as always LOL) and see if they dates link up and that's probably a good way to check.
I can't remember if steam indicates when the game was updated, so if there is a way to check when the last time the steam version was updated then that's actually more accurate way of comparing the update times to see if either are on the same version or not.

The itch.io version doesn't support DLC, pets are DLC. So nobody with a itch.io copy of among us is able to buy pets or any other DLC. That's just how itch.io works sadly. You'll need to use the steam key, then buy the pets via steam, and I believe the pets will still show up whilst playing through the itch.io version i think (i can't confirm this lol) so you don't have to use steam to play with the pets.

I have an idea for Among Us 2 that I think the creators should hear: I think there should be Power up like things in the second game. Like a power up that makes the crewmate be able to see where the imposter is but not give away exactly who it is. Or a power up that makes you be able to do download tasks faster. Or something of the sort.please consider my idea or if you want just do something similar lol.

I'd like to see WASD/directional arrow movement functionality in the mobile version for Chromebook users. I downloaded the app, then purchased the ad-removal on my only to find out that there was no support for this. I read some other comments from other CB users stating they'd like this feature as well.
Besides that, this is a great game that I keep recommending to all my friends.

there should be a report button: I was in a game where these kids thought it would be funny to wait tell everyone was dead ( imposter or not ) and make us watch them play hide and seek, they didn’t tell anyone and were very rude. They ended up admitting that they were on FaceTime with each other and when one was imposter they would call the other imposters on purpose. I have pictures and names of who they were ( took screen shot ) There should really be a player report button and I get people will abuse this but at the same time what these kids did ruined my fun because they wanted to be funny.
Yeah, one time in a server a Impostor was caught and started hacking and killed me and someone else while we were in a meeting, I can't exactly remember the name but all I know is that the person got banned from the server I was in.

You just have to re-download the game and delete the old one.

To add more difficulty for the crewmates you can

Maybe you can try get the game on steam? The steam version has purchasable cosmetics. Itch.io sadly doesn't support DLC AFAIK.

getting pirated isnt a thing, pirating means illegally distributing something that isn't approved by the creator (like a free version of among us)
If you use the itch.io app you can avoid using any third party software to play the games you got on here: https://itch.io/app
That is the WinZip application and you must extract the files from Amount Us but since you have not paid for WinZip you cannot proceed to extract

He's right, WinZip (by Corel) is paid and unusable after trial expires. 7Zip is good alternative here.
