I don’t remember having a game from itch not download for me - and even the buyers who complained here have managed to download it. My guess would be that it has to do with your browser.

you need to run it with wine or proton (if a mac version exists) because they only provide windows downloads even though unity makes it easy to build for mac and linux
Depends on the security your school has on the Chromebook. If you can download PlayStore apps, you should be able to download it from the Google PlayStore.

i think you can run wine or proton on a chromebook if your chromebook is x86 and you can executable linux binaries and install DEBs then have wine or proton run the exe
or download it from the playstore if your chromebook is arm
I have a thinkpad and I bought it what you do is create an itch.io account then you click buy and put in your credit info then you click download then go in your files and extract it then you can open it

You're best bet would be PlayOnMac or Nox if there's a mac port for nox that is.
And at least describe your problem in detail along with what platform you are trying to play the game on. This information helps us to at least understand what you are trying to stay. Because it's as easy as un-ziping the folder then clicking the application to run the game and get the game going. it's really that simple lol.
So unless you're trying to play on Mac, understand that there's no mac port to begin with :P

Actually Dani didn't steal their game.He always says in his last part of his video that it was for entertainment purposes it's not to meant to take anything from among us team.But I think they will not give permission because if they gave the permission many people will go and start playing Dani's instead of really among us(Dani is popular so his game will also go popular if he released)
I don't know if these were bugs or hacks but in a server at the start of the game the lights were off and if someone turned them back on they would turn off again, and then when it stopped the door to electrical was closed for way longer then they should be. And then the meetings skipped themselves for no reason.
Edit: A few seconds ago I played in a server and someone named "abass" was exploiting, someone caught them and called a meeting but they changed the votes so someone else got voted off, afterwards they killed me, the person that caught them, and that persons friend all at the same time. You should really add a report option so it's easier to report hackers.

the only version for PC is for Windows but that doesn't mean you can't play among us on linux or mac
LINUX USERS: use wine or proton
MAC USERS: playonmac or wine
Edit: don't forget to extract. the zip file isn't a portable executable...
Wine sadly isn't compatible with the most recent MacOS :(

You just have to re-download the game and delete the old one.

The crewmates goal is to complete all tasks while avoiding the impostor(s). The imposter(s) goal is just to kill every crewmate
The rules is
no reporting dead bodys
You can't vote out the impostor(s)
You cant call an emergency meeting
You can't sabotage
To add more difficulty for the crewmates you can
Turn off the lights or disable comms

Sounds like hacks. Not much can be done, you're gonna have to ban them yourself or make a new lobby.
