You have to extract the game files from the zip and launch the game with "Among Us.exe" Every time there's an update, you have to download it the same way again. You could also add the game to Steam with the key or download the game through the itch.io app: https://itch.io/app

If you're downloading the zip and it's disappearing, your antivirus is probably doing that. Open your antivirus program and have a look what files it's removing. You can download the game through Steam and you shouldn't have this problem.
I have an idea for more things ghosts can do, 1: they can trap imposters inside of vents for 5 seconds. 2: They can open doors that imposters close, but only once.
