If you check out this link (YouTube Video), you can find a way to bypass the Chrome OS function. You just need to have a certain model and version of Chromebook. These models, that work, will have Linux Beta.

what, I didn't make an excuse? I was just saying some people use bluestacks to get it for free and why.. why would you do that? then innersloth doesn't get the money (I think). Actually, devs allow people to use bluestacks cause bluestacks has ads and you don't get the extra PC stuff (you get extra stuff when you pirate the game)

Right click that and click 'Open'. It will ask you to extract some files, but if it opens another window after the extraction is done, just press the bottom Tab thing on it.
Otherwise, just wait for it to extract. Now, it will send you back to one file, keep opening it until you get to the actual Among Us logo. Right click, open it and wait for it to load. Hope I helped.

If you use a personal chromebook, you can download the game on the Google Play Store and make sure control type is on touch because the joystick on PC is a nightmare!

Suggestion for update: let us see settings of each server (e. g. voting time, speed, cooldown etc. ) by right-click on server's name. I leave quickly often when i see bad settings for me, e. g. over 60 voting time.

Most people who make their games free have a Patreon. So, they're not releasing their games for free because they're generous, it's because they are getting paid for working on their games.
If a person releases their game for free, and has no Patreon, it means this person cannot gain money from their game because either it's a very basic and very short game, or because they're not popular enough.
It's sad, but it's true. Do not think they're just "generous", there are a lot of things to take into account.
Because there's no point in complaining that the game is not free when :
- The game is free on Android/iOS, so you could just get it on your phone or use an Android emulator ;
- The game is only 5$. This is absolutely cheap for what it is.
With that in mind, it's quite clear that people that are complaining about the game not being free are either kids, or people who just don't give a fudge about the devs' needs. (and those people may also be kids.)

You can't open your game? These instructions are all I know for now:

The game is free only on Android/iOS, because of the presence of ads (although they're disabled for some time)
It is NOT free on Steam and Nintendo Switch. On those platforms, the game costs the same price as on Itch.io
