Will always lock up or freeze somewhere between initial load screen to waiting in the lobby (on PC) Flickers a few times, freezes and white screen appears with a popup that says amongus.exe has stopped working - wait / close program.
I've done everything I can think of. My laptop is fairly new and I've never had any issues with the game before this update. I'm so pissed!
Cant sign in and can't use keyboard even tho I'm older than 18. Tried to uninstall and reinstall, so I can make sure my birthday was good and still can't use key board and I can't change the setting from quick text chat to the normal chat

The itch.io version of the game is, without confirming it would be acceptable for users, no longer being properly supported.
They are offering Steam keys to any itch.io owners and that version is fully supported, but that doesn't help customers who can't use Steam (due to it having been a known health hazard for the past 18 months with Valve refusing to fix it).

THIS IS FOR PC VERSION. For anyone having issues running the Among Us because they purchased it on the itch.io site, you MUST link the purchase to your Steam account. *NOTE: you do NOT have to repurchase the game* The steps below should help you out:
1. Since you're already on this page, scroll to the top to "You Own This Game" and press the download button.
2. Scrolling down you should see a "claim steam key" click claim and you will have to put in a code given through an email address. Afterwards, you have to click that to reveal the steam key.
3. Open steam and on the top of the tab is 'Games' under the drop bar 'Activate a product on Steam'
4. Enter the steam key given from the 'Download Among US' given on the itch.io page.
5. Run the game on Steam (you will have to delete the old version and redownload it ON STEAM), this will enable you to play. When you do, the game will launch and you will be able to add your account, change your name, and chat.
Just ignore that Steam is a literal health hazard for some people and this is an unacceptable solution for people who explicitly bought the game NOT on Steam because we want the game NOT on Steam because Steam is NOT a valid platform to play the game on.
The itch.io download was updated 3 days ago, which SHOULD be the up-to-date version of the game.
itch.io support provides an email contact for innersloth if you need to resolve issues and don't have access to Steam. I contacted them and got an automated "your message has been received" response within an hour, it's been less than a day since I sent it and no reply yet, but the more people who reach out with the same issue, the better the chance they'll address it.
The email for support is us@innersloth.com and so far, still no reply, but small company and rather a lot of problems right now, so I'm not exactly surprised.
I can't find The Airship map. I've restarted Among Us, deleted the data, and nothing. I've had Among Us downloaded for a long time. Do I have to pay for the map to be installed on the game? Please help me.
the airship and the avatar customisation is cool but I hate the fact that I can’t change my name (also I accidentally clicked randomise name so now I’m stuck on Naivenose). And that we can’t chat properly.

Did you re-download it? Because you probably need to download the updated version, the game doesn't update itself.

You can Log in. It just doesn't work on PC. it works on Mac though.
