I am not 100% sure if wine would work but it pretty much works on linux so it should work on *nix. You can also find lots of tutorials telling you how to dualboot windows and mac or better known as the bootcamp method. This is a tutorial which can help you how to install wine and/or Winebottler.

Well it doesn't lag on PC. and it is also quite expensive publishing a game on it. That's why usually only mobile games are free! 2nd reason is that PC games don't have ads, very few have + ads === money$$
There was mention a while back that the devs would be looking into this, but no promise was made, and it was before they posted a roadmap which doesn't include them resuming itch.io support.
Suggestion for the next update: daytime and nighttime cycles on maps, during the night and/or when lights are out, security cameras have a night vision mode where the screen is green, and there's a 25% chance to see a ghost (dead player doing tasks, or a plain white ai wandering aimlessly). Just a thought I had, please consider! :))

OK I changed my mind about Among Us being a bad game. The update make it a lot better. I can now enjoy playing with 15 friends and have Free Chat back again. I also enjoy the new colors too.

If you are using linux you could use Wine or Proton. If you are on mac you could use The boot camp method. Hope this helps.

I hope that you could use an itch.io account that owns among to sign in on the itch.io version
