We are… Most of us are… A few members of the community are aware that you are currently very busy developing and likely don’t have as much time to sift through their fan- & hate-mails, let alone these comments. Like hundreds of other people I have a suggestion - but it’s not about the game: To reduce the number of ever-repeating questions, please consider adding a small mini-FAQ at the end of your store page, as well as some short install instructions. Aside from easing inexperienced players into gaming, this might also reduce the amount of refund requests dramatically.

But some of them are giving me nothing to work with. “[…] not working” What kind of problem is that even supposed to be? Did they try to run the game on Mac…? What solutions did they try so far? Do they know even how to extract a file…? There are answers to these and other issues right here in the comments, but I can’t confirm or deny them as working. All I’ve given to them is the hint to maybe, just maybe, try to look into how to solve their issue. And of all the people I responded to, two I felt the need to criticize because of the way they worded their complaint.
I don’t even have the game myself and I have no emotional attachment to it. I just saw that people needed help and did the best I could under the circumstances. But I tell you what: Since you know so much better, why don’t you help some people for a change? Because as of right now all you’ve done is to insult me - twice - and laugh about someone else. I don’t remember having a game from itch not download for me - and even the buyers who complained here have managed to download it. My guess would be that it has to do with your browser.

you need to run it with wine or proton (if a mac version exists) because they only provide windows downloads even though unity makes it easy to build for mac and linux
Depends on the security your school has on the Chromebook. If you can download PlayStore apps, you should be able to download it from the Google PlayStore.

i think you can run wine or proton on a chromebook if your chromebook is x86 and you can executable linux binaries and install DEBs then have wine or proton run the exe
or download it from the playstore if your chromebook is arm

it might not be 100% compatiable with the 5s sincce i believe that phone is going to stop being supported soon

Right click the downloaded folder. Extract the files. You should now have an unzipped folder. Open it and double click the game to run.

the only version for PC is for Windows but that doesn't mean you can't play among us on linux or mac
LINUX USERS: use wine or proton
MAC USERS: playonmac or wine
Edit: don't forget to extract. the zip file isn't a portable executable...
Wine sadly isn't compatible with the most recent MacOS :(
